MIKE
HENDERSHOT BRINGS HOME TOP TEN ON HOT NIGHT AT NEW EGYPT
SPEEDWAY
On a night where the
temperature soared into the triple digits, Mike Hendershot
and the #80 WNAG modified were on fire bringing home another
top ten finish. The night started on a scary note for the
Hackettstown native when the oil pressure went down. After
finding the problem and a joint effort of fellow New Egypt
Speedway competitors, Mike was able to make his position in
the second of three modified heats. Starting fourth in the
heat with no warmup time, Hendershot displayed the
determination and experience of a 23 year veteran in the
sport. Mike maintained the fourth spot and qualified for the
upcoming 30 lap feature. The night got hot even hotter as
the modified of Mike Hendershot took to track. Starting in
the 9th position, Hendershot moved up quickly to
the 6th position. At the end of the thirty lap
feature, Mike posted an eighth place finish. Hendershot was
very happy with this performance after how the evening
started. Mike would like to thank his crew for their hard
work and the many fellow competitors who helped to get him
out for his heat race. Hendershot Motorsports is looking
forward to a very special night next Saturday at New Egypt
Speedway. This upcoming Saturday is “Friends of Mike Night”
at the track with $15, 000 to the winner. It is a fun night
with a 100 lap feature event. Hendershot Motorsports is
looking for another great finish on such a special night.

Mike Hendershot drove
his #80 WNAG dirt modified to a thrilling top five finish in
the 40 lap Tri-Track Series event, “Yankee Classic” at New
Egypt Speedway on Saturday, July 3rd, 2010.
After having a disappointing finish the previous week with

drove a thrilling race. He moved from 11th to the
fifth position in just a few laps. Willie Osmun and
Hendershot put on a show for the fans battling for the
fourth and fifth positions. Going into the final lap,
Hendershot beat Osmun to the line for the fourth position.
Mike was very happy with his finish and is looking forward
to another strong finish next Saturday at New Egypt

ANOTHER TOP TEN
FINISH FOR MIKE HENDERSHOT AT NEW EGYPT SPEEDWAY
Mike Hendershot
drove his #80 WNAG dirt modified to another top ten finish this
past Saturday night at the New Egypt Speedway. Coming off a pair
of disappointing finishes of 16th and 14th
from the previous week, Hendershot was determined to follow up
with a solid run. Mike started his #80 dirt modified in the
fifth position of the third modified heat race. Hendershot
looked strong in the early going, driving up to the third
position only to fall back to the sixth and final qualifying
position. Mike started in the 13th position for the
30 lap feature event of the night. Hendershot quickly moved into
the top ten by the halfway point of the race. The Troyer race
car of Hendershot looked strong and battled lap after lap for a
top ten finish. Mike would bring home the #80 WNAG-Used Auto
Dealer Multiplex modified in the ninth position. Hendershot and
the team were very pleased with the results after the top twenty
finishes of the previous week. Mike and Hendershot Motorsports
will be competing next Saturday at the New Egypt Speedway.

MIKE HENDERSHOT
DRIVES #80 TO TOP FIVE FINISH AT NEW EGYPT SPEEDWAY
After attending the
races at New Egypt Speedway on Saturday, May 15, 2010,
one would have to just say, “WOW!”. That word describes
the night that Mike Hendershot of Hackettstown, New
Jersey turned in the 30 lap modified feature at New
Egypt Speedway. The entire night of racing was filled
with exciting door to door action including the modified
feature. Hendershot started his evening in the fourth
position of the second heat of modified action.
Throughout the 10 lap heat race it seemed Mike was
battling for the sixth and final qualifying position.
The Hackettstown native would end up in that qualifying
position holding off Rick Laubach and Tim Tanner Jr. The
30 lap feature had the #80 WNAG dirt modified in the 12th
starting position. Hendershot had a very fast car and
quickly was up in the fourth position. Mike knew the car
was quick and wanted to keep that momentum. A late race
caution saw Hendershot slip back into the sixth position
but on the final laps quickly gained the fifth spot.
After the race, Mike was very pleased with his #80 WNAG
dirt modified. He commented to his crew that the car was
very fast and handled well. Mike is definitely is
pleased with his progress this season so far and looks
to gain even more success.

CHARGING
FROM THE BACK, HENDERSHOT LANDS A TOP TEN AT NEW EGYPT
SPEEDWAY
Mike
Hendershot, driver of the WNAG #80 big block modified turned
what could have been a disappointing finish into a thrilling
run at New Egypt Speedway on Mother’s Day Race. The weekly
heats at New Egypt can only be called one word: Tough.
Hendershot started 7th in the first heat of the
three modified heats. Mike battled lap after lap only to
missing qualifying for the feature by one spot. The
consolation saw Mike Hendershot start on the pole position.
Joining Hendershot in the consolation race were Billy Pauch,
Frank Cozze and many other top drivers. Hendershot took off
with the lead only to have a wheel to wheel battle with
Billy Pauch. A second place finish in the consi put
Hendershot in the 20th starting position for the
30 lap feature. Mike knew it would be tough coming from the
back but hard work, skillful driving and 22 years experience
paid off big. Hendershot battled every lap coming from the
back. Passing some of the top drivers in the field, Mike
took his Troyer race car and finished in the 9th
position. After the race, Mike was very pleased with the
handling of the car and the jump of 11 positions to the
front. Hendershot Motorsports is looking forward to another
week of racing action at the New Egypt Speedway.
